Situated at Hubei University of Automotive Technology (HUAT) in China, the Sino-Ghana Research Center for West Africa (SGRC-WA) serves as an interdisciplinary hub that encourages collaboration among China, Ghana, and the broader West African region. Affiliated with HUAT’s School of Foreign Studies and Trade (SFST), the center engages in transformative research, fosters cultural exchange, and develops innovative solutions to tackle regional challenges. Its primary focus areas encompass sustainable automotive technology, renewable energy, trade and industrial policy, education, and cross-cultural communication. SGRC-WA seeks to promote innovation, sustainable development, and mutual understanding between China and West Africa through collaborations with academia, industry, and government.
