During the ceremony, Dr. Gbologah observed that the partnership aligns with SGRC-WA’s mission to foster cross-continental collaboration by connecting industry with area studies expertise. He highlighted that integrating SGRC-WA’s understanding of African regional dynamics with the Association’s industry experience will assist enterprises in developing well-informed market strategies and augmenting their global footprint, especially in West Africa.

Professor Yang Rongguang emphasized that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will significantly enhance collaboration in establishing an automotive industry think-tank platform and reinforce SGRC-WA’s role in international engagement and applied research.

Both parties conveyed their confidence that the collaboration will foster new opportunities for collaborative research, talent cultivation, and international engagement, thereby establishing a robust institutional foundation for the global expansion of Shiyan’s automotive industry.
