A selection interview was held for volunteer teachers from Hubei University of Automotive Technology (HUAT) to teach the Chinese language at the HUAT/Confucius Institute
(CI) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. The interview took place in the conference room of HUAT's First Teaching Building.
The interview panel included Prof. SU Zibo, Co-Director of CI-KNUST-Ghana; Prof. MIN Zuchuan, former Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Studies and Trade (SFST); Dr. GBOLOGAH Lemuel, Director of the Sino-Ghana Research Center for West Africa; and Dr. HOU Yongdan, a resource person and lecturer, with support from the International Cooperation and Exchange Office (ICEO) of HUAT and CI-KNUST.
The initiative aims to promote Chinese language and cultural exchange and strengthen the academic collaboration between HUAT and KNUST through the Confucius Institute. The selected volunteers will be crucial in fostering cross-cultural learning at KNUST.
